Dear Friends and Faithful Supporters,

On April 6, Anchor Baptist Church celebrated its 3rd anniversary. It’s hard to believe it’s already been three years! When we reflect on this time, we realize that nearly 159 Sundays have gone by—159 days filled with the joy, the burden, and the privilege of gathering together to worship our Lord.

Each Sunday has been the result of prayer, preparation, music rehearsals, cleaning, and labor behind the scenes—especially remembering that our very first service took place in a borrowed carpenter’s workshop. By God’s miraculous hand, just a few months later, that space became our own property!

Disciples Making Disciples

Today, we rejoice in seeing a congregation where believers are not only being discipled but are actively discipling others. Our youth are not perfect, but they are tender to the Holy Spirit, recognizing their sins, seeking forgiveness, and rebuilding relationships. These moments are deeply moving, and a clear evidence of God's grace at work.

Our children's ministry continues to flourish as they learn God's Word, Bible doctrine, and gospel truth—led by loving, faithful teachers who long to see the children of Venezuela come to know Christ.

 A Victory Worth Celebrating

We celebrated this anniversary with mild weather, no rain or power outages, running water, new restrooms, and even a finished platform! All of this, in a country facing constant challenges, felt like a true miracle.

Barquisimeto, my hometown since I was two years old when my parents first arrived as missionaries, continues to be a place in deep need. The gospel is still received with hunger and gratitude. Venezuela is still fertile ground.

Looking Ahead

Three years is just the beginning. Our vision is to become a sending church—raising up men and women, including our own children, to go out and serve the Lord both within and beyond Venezuela. This is our prayer, and we believe it is God’s plan.

Each photo we share tells a story—not just of events, but of transformed lives, of rescued souls, of a gospel that continues to change hearts in the power of the Spirit.

Gratitude From Our Hearts

We could not do this without your love, your prayers, and your faithful giving. This anniversary is a reminder that your partnership is bearing fruit—visible fruit today, and eternal fruit tomorrow. Thank you for standing with us.
